Day Five

Cobie was up and needed me to lay with her back to sleep last night, but this morning, she seemed to feel much better. Her nose is running now like crazy and shes got bellyaches now, but the fever is lower and she seems more energetic, so YAY. We should be out of the woods by Sunday.

Ana is gonna stay with her pops until then, which is one benefit of co-parenting with smart people. We protect Ana as much as we can from any illness at either house. When she gets back I am planning a couple Spring Break day trips.. let’s hope everyone stays healthy.. bc we have a new baby in the family and I wanna go SMOOSH him and let Ana see her God siblings and I’d like to spend some one on one time with Ana.

Cobie wanted a red apple, and she was feeling up to it so we ran to the store and got some and a few other things.. the weather can stay now thanks.. its beautiful out and now I know why G told me he would probably be working later than normal today. SO pretty out.

I think as you can tell by the generally more upbeat post today, Yoga was great last night and I used the new steam sauna after, and I think it has successfully pulled me out of the earlier doldrums this week. Just in time for the weekend so thank you brain on sunshine.

This afternoon we played hiding the easter eggs like 10 times over and over and then she played in the kitchen sink with water.. she lovessss doing that with her toddler tower that she is almost too tall for… omg. She puts one “make-up” everyday.. which is moisturizer, a tiny bit of mascara, sometimes blush and LIPS! She is def on the mend.

Garret got home from work and we had a easy dinner of Korean Soy Garlic Chicken and white rice then I went to usher and watch Sondheim show tonight at the Guild and stopped over at the Yart sale at the PAC. I snagged a weighted blanket and a rapunzel dress (two things that were literally on my list to order!) SCORE… AND the show was amazing, as always.. the talent in our community is ridiculous. Sondheim is difficult stuff and the cast sang ALOT of music. Kudos to everyone involved.

I have been teaching some art classes at the PAC randomly because the director asked me if I would consider it at the art conference back in September. So far I have taught tye-dye workshop 101, cricut vinyl and iron on workshop and two four week Somatic Art Club classes where I introduce concepts of making art for mental health and somatic therapy and we just get to play and have a blast with different mediums and materials. I am taking a break, and working on what I might be able to offer between now and fall. I am a summer baby and will want plenty of time to get out and hike and just be outside so I am thinking some one-off classes will be the way to go for now and maybe try and do a yoga series outside somewhere.

Goodnight!
